My Sweet Golden Dog Mellow

Hello! This week in Music we are learning about writing stuff that includes music.

And the teachers choose Happier. Here's my writing:

It was my 10th birthday, You might think I should be happy because It’s my birthday. But no, I was
upset because the kids were wild at my birthday party.

They were wild like a crazy kid that got escape from a mental hospital.

I tried to stop them but they won’t. I can’t hold back my tears anymore, one
sad tear came down my Rosey cheek.

But then, I saw my parents holding my birthday cake, It brightened up my mood.
The cake was colour White and creamy at the top of the cake,
there are some Yellow delicious toppings and some Yellow stripe candles.
I was about to blow the candles,
but suddenly one of the Girls at my birthday party blow it instead.

It makes me feel depressed inside, but my parents bring up my gifts. I tried to control my feelings but the
Sad and Angry tears were too strong to control.

As my tear came down, I wiped it as fast as I can so my parents won’t notice that I’ve been crying inside.

They put my gift down to the table, the gift looks adorable and wrapped around with
my favourite colour which is Yellow.

I opened it slowly, It was a Yellow cute Bow! It healed my depressed heart a little bit. My parents went
back and get something,
I was shocked, My eyes were widened. It was a cute gold coloured little puppy.

I was so happy, I hold the adorable gold puppy and stroke its golden Fur softly.

I decided to name her “Mellow”. Mellow start to lick my Pink cheek.

I was so delighted that I smiled really widely, my dad takes a picture of me and the golden Puppy.

Years later…

I’m fifteen now, and Mellow is all grown up as well, she’s 5 years old.

I played with her always and I will always take the time to play with her.

I’m a High School Student now, I signed up for Football Team and now they’re picking
up some people to be part of it.  
The leader of the football team which is a girl,
she chose nearly everyone that sign up, I tried to stay positive that I’ll get to chosen.

After a couple of minutes, Everyone that sign up for Football gets chosen, except for me.  
They think for a second about it
, and I was worried that they might not choose me.
I can hear they’re talking about me whether I should be in the team or not, but I just ignore it,
but deep inside, I was still hurt about it.

I was sad, when I went home, Mellow cheered me up. We played a lil soccer game with Mellow.

The next day, I was back again to school. The girls teased me about my yellow braces,
I felt down and embarrased about it.

At the end of the day I went home with a sad feeling in my heart. Mellow is like my best friends
, even if she’s a dog, She knows It when I’m sad.

She try to make me feel better, and I did. Just looking at Mellow’s golden fur, It makes me happy.

Days went by, I can see Mellow is getting weaker and weaker.

She used to playful, but now Shes just lying in the ground.

I was worried that she’s getting sick.

We check her up in the Vet, And the doctor said she has this deases.

I was so depressed, after finding out about it.

Because I know, that When Mellow is gone, There will be no one will cheer
me up during my depressing days. No one will play with me…

A few months later..

I went home at night, I saw Mellow is lying down in the carpet.

I was worried.

I quickly check up on her but she’s not moving at all.

I tried to be positive that shes just playing dead with me.

But if felt different…

I have a feeling inside my heart that she’s gone…

I called my dad and bring her to the vet.

A couple hours later, The doctor tried everything that tehy could do to save Mellow but death come.

I was sad, and depressed.

I’ll never forget about my sweet loving dog Mellow.

20 Years Later

I Have my own family now…

I have a daughter and a loving husband.

And today was my Daughters birthday.

Everything was colour Red.

Everything was fine until…

It was time for gifts, And Inside of that gift box that my dad give my daughter,
it was a lil cute puppy with a Red Bow.

A tear came down my cheeck.

It reminded me of my sweet loving dog Mellow.

I cried of tears of Joy.

And it was the End of my story...

The Stunning Experience in Student Summit

The Stunning Experience in Student Summit

Hello fellow people! Today I'm gonna be talking about the Stunning 1st experience I have in Student Summit 2019.  First of all, what happened was all of the amazing Hornby High School Student Summit people gathered up in a meeting room and getting ready everything. 

I was nervous at that time because It was my first time being a part of Student Summit which is pretty exciting as well. I went a check our Slideshow and make sure there's nothing wrong with it.

We ride on a Van of HHS and drive to South Hornby School, After that, we wait for a while for the rest of the students in Different schools. I feel like there are thousands of people but no, there's only like 50+ students.

Miss Morgan tell us our Timetable and stuff and we started on our first session.

I and Nevaeh were first to present our toolkit. So we go to the table where we're gonna presents and set up stuff like connecting Nevaeh's Chromebook to the TV.

After that, some students from a range of Different schools come to our presentation.
From my observation, It's all the girls who came to our presentation.

After a while, It was going smooth so far until the Wifi connection isn't good.

But it's fine we find a solution to it. Overall my experience to the Student Summit was AMAZINGLY AMAZING!

Minute To Win It!

Minute To Win It!

Hola! This week was the last week of Term 1, So the Kiwi Kaha hosted a "Minute To Win It" to end the Term 1 Really good and unforgettable. Well sadly, I wasn't there for Full Period 3 because I have this Health Leaders event thing that I have to attend, So I just see the Half of the Event. 

Here are the players that went up for 7/8 Tz:

- Tamani - Cone flip (3rd)
- Jesse - Keeping balloons off the ground (3rd)
- Jayden - Cookie no hands (No place)
- Jayden - Blowing paper (No place)
- Rarotonga and Shanarnia - Balloon transporters (No Place)
- Hamid and Tevita - Bubbles (No Place)
- Hans - Spaghetti Pasta, Loading Penne Pasta (No Place)
- Zack - Yes/No - Water Gun (No Place)

As you can see, We didn't get any 1st and 2nd Place, we only have 3rd Place or No Place, But It's fine, At least we have fun. Hopefully Next Term, We will win.

What's Mean, Mode and Median??? (Statistics)

Morena! This week in Maths with Mrs Hastie, we are learning what's the meaning of Mean, Mode and Median in Statistics. So today I'm gonna tell you what it means. 

So first, Let's talk about "Mean". Mean is the sum of the scores divided by the number of scores (Also called Average). 

Next, What's Mode? The mode is the number that appears most often in a set of data.

Lastly, What's Median? The Median is the number that comes in the middle of a set of numbers when they are arranged in orders.

Introducing The New Hurumanu!

Kia Ora! Today I'm gonna talk about our another New Hurumanu.  Our other new Hurumanu is P.E. also known as "We're On Each Others Team". Last week we started this new Hurumanu, we played this game called "Bench Ball", we also played another game called "Long Ball", but I wasn't there when we play it, because I have to attend the Student Summit in South Hornby School.

How To Make Your Sentence Interesting?

Namaste! Today in Hurumanu Music (Monday Sessions), we are learning about How to make a boring/simple sentence into a detailed and interesting sentence.

So here's how...

  First, you need to put an interesting adjective, then add a When, Where, How and Why.

Here's mine:

Normal Sentence:

The music was loud.

Adding adjectives:

The music was extremely loud.

Adding when it happened:
In the afternoon the music was extremely loud.

Adding where it happened:

In the afternoon at the Music room, the music was extremely loud.

Adding how it happened:

In the afternoon at the Music room, the Music was extremely loud done by the annoying students.

Adding why it happened:

In the afternoon at the Music room, the Music was extremely loud done by the annoying students because they have nothing to do and decided to play with the instruments.

New Hururmanu!

NEW HURUMANU!!!

Bonjour! This week is the start of our new Hurumanu, Our new Hurumanu is Music. Our teacher in this wonderful new Hurumanu is Miss Birtch and Miss Hastie.
