Hello, This blogpost is made for Emma from the Summer Learning Journey. But If you are not her you are still welcome to read my post :)
I'm doing this blog post to introduce myself because I've signed for Summer Learning Journey (SLJ)
Hi, I'm Elisha Mae a year 8 from Hornby High School. I am participating in SLJ and I've already signed up as well. My favourite subject at my school is Art. What I found interesting in SLJ is the topic on Week 4 which is "All the world's a Stage" - Arts and Entertainment. I hope to improve my learning during the summer holidays by doing this and I'll try my best to give time for this during the holidays to avoid the summer slide.
What is your favourite colour Emma?
Kasamnida
(Thank you in Korean)
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

CIP - Tane Mahuta (T4 W6)
Hi, today is Wednesday so that means CIP day - (Tane Mahuta). I helped out taking out the Ivy's and I also helped out making drench to plant seeds in there. The garden is looking pretty good so far but there's still a lot of Ivy for us to remove but I don't we'll be able to take them all because...
1) We only have 2 weeks until the school year ends
2) We only have Wednesday sessions for Tane Mahuta to work on it
3) The Ivies are going back again
Fun Facts:
As we were taking all the Ivy out, we found an interesting tiny house kinda-like and it's covered with Ivy all over it.
Thanks for viewing my post.
Have a gorgeous day :)

Children will learn better if lunches were provided
Kamusta, This week in writing with Mrs Allan-Fletcher we are doing persuasive writing. We are on our first step to the persuasive writing and that is to research about your topic and list at least 3 statements why you agree on that or disagree. My topic was "Children will learn better if lunches were provided" and I agree on that. Here's why...
3 statements:
- I think children will learn faster because some children don’t have lunches and a scientist says If you’re hungry your brain doesn’t really function very well.
(Metabolism is a part of your body where it breakdown foods)
-Healthy and full kids learn better and improve their studies.
Thank you for reading my post! Have an amazing day everyone.
Do you agree on that or disagree. Why or Why not?

CIP - Tane Mahuta - W4 T4
Hi, Today we have CIP - Tane Mahuta. All we did was mixing the soil so we could plants some trees in. Also, dig some more planting area so we could plant more plants. The ground was very hard and dry and there's a lot of annoying stones and annoying classmates. I and my friends also discovered furry unknown plants. It is green and oval but I don't think it's edible. Because one of the students in Tane Mahuta tried to eat it and spit out immediately.
Bye and have a great day.
