Culture dance of Samoan and Maori

This Culture dance is about Samoan and Maori. The Samoan Culture dance is Sasa (the Year 5 girls and boys) and Maori Culture dance is Ti Rauku (the year 6 and year 4 girls ) and Super Haka (the year 6 and year 4 boys )  .

The Ti Rauku Culture dance of Maori is dance using the sticks and sing they only sit until the dance is finished and the Super Haka Culture dance of Maori and they only dance with their feet and hand and they standing only until the dance  are finished too and they have a leader. And the Samoan Sasa Culture dance of Samoa is dance using their hands and action it and while they are sitting they are sing also.

Duathlon Term 1 2017

Trip to Spencer Park

W.A.L.T Write an information report that informs the audience.

• The opening statement is followed by sentences that describe the event; what you saw, what you did, how you felt, what you learnt.
• Each paragraph focuses on a different aspect of the topic; travelling, the beach, the lagoon walk, playground.
• A general statement about the topic usually rounds off the report.

                                             Trip to Spencer Park

Last Friday Ako Ngatahi went to Spencer Park to have fun and explore our learning and I sat with Tasharn and we talking at the bus with her. We were so excited to go  Spencer Park.

After that we arrived to the Spencer Park. First we spent time to play on the Playground and my favorite things in the playground is the slide and swing. I ride with Alliah and we have fun playing at the playground.

Next we walked to the Lagoon and we saw a hummingbird and horses. We saw also a small insects like spider and their web house and bee. We learned also about plants like wild plants and we learned. Then, we went to the beach and we collect some seashells to make a Sculpture Art and we played in the sand, “That was so exciting and fun!!!” I said to Allieh.

After that we came back to our cottage that where we are have rest and for while ago. We were eating our lunch and I sat with Alliah and while we talking about exciting place that where we have been before, I have fried egg and rice inside of my lunch box and I have also a bottle of water I said to Alliah “What do you have in your lunch?”  Alliah said “ I have a bacon and rice”.

“Oh, that was yummy!” I said , and  we and we eating our lunch and then, we are so tired after we walk to the lagoon and beach and after that mr Scott told  us to played in the playground  for 25 minutes and if you want to go to the bathroom you need to come with adults or teacher and we played to the playground.

I played with Jolly Rose and Skyler after 25 minutes ago we set to the ground and mr Scott again give us instruction Mr Scott instruction is to grabbed a fruit to the box if your room called so we grabbed fruit and we finish eating it ,

Lastly we ride to the bus and we was happy and we went back to school.

I learnt about birds that called White Ibis and they are white and black.

My Beach Sculpture Art

    This term 1 our class we have a trip in the Spencer Park to have fun , And this blog post is about what I'm learning and what we do  ,And first we went to the playground and we played at the playground and Next, we walked to the Lagoon,we saw a small  insects like a spiders , humming birds and horses and I learned also about plants like wild animals .

      Then , went to the beach to collect some things like stick and seashells to create a Sculpture Art and I enjoy finding seashells and  Finally , we ride to the bus to came back to the school and After that ,  And we make Sculpture Art  and first,  I put a hole to the small seashells and  Next , I put string in the inside on the hole and tied and put two big seashells on the top of the stick .

  And this blog post is about how we create a Sculpture Art  Our teacher helped us to get some information and ideas that we can do, and some of our teachers helped us to glue our Sculpture Art together and some of our teachers told us to exchange some  things that we got  at the beach ,some of our class didn't get some beach treasures so they looked around to the field and find some.

My Sculpture art called '' A Ocean hanging seashells decor '' I create this sculpture art because the one that inspired me is the picture of seashells decor  and I added more detail to make it better and I named it 

''A Ocean hanging seashells decor ''

because a seashells is one of thing that can found to the beach and I added hanging decor  ,so that we can hanging and decor  it to our house .
