Script for Drama

Hi! Today for Drama we are doing like a news report about a pop star called "Nevaehlinne".
The characters will be Risha the Reporter and, I and Shreya are the Opening Reporters.
We made a script in google docs and here it is:

Elisha Mae and Shreya:
Welcome, come back to ESNR News!

Elisha Mae:  Today Risha is going to be interviewing Nevaehlinne
about her upcoming movie called “Golden Bay”.

Shreya:  Off to you Risha

*Elisha Mae and Shreya go behind the brick prop and wait for eternity*

Risha: ⤵️
Thank you, Shreya and Elisha Mae. I’m behind the scenes of “Golden Bay”
talking to the one and only Nevaehlinne about how she controls her feelings.
Let’s go. So the first thing is
“How do you control your feelings when you are on
the camera and off the camera?”

Nevaehlinne: When I am on a scene I will have to
wait an hour or so and then go into my dressing room and when I am at home I just go into
my room and have a break.

Risha: ⤵️
Ok so what if your mum and dad were having a
fight for a week what would you do? Would you let it go or do something?

Nevaehlinne: if it is a big thing I would take them to the set and if it is a small
thing I will just let it slip.

Risha:⤵️
Well, you have heard from her own mouth what
Neavehlinne does to control her feelings. This is Risha behind the scenes of
“Golden Bay” Reporting out.

*Everyone walks off the stage on the left*

Thank You for reading this post! and have a great day

What is that mysterious white powder?

Finding Out what's the Mysterious White Powder and Making some Sherbert

Bonjour! today in Science we are doing some experiments all about the guessing what's the White powder.

What is that white powder?

Today you will be a forensic chemist.
A bag of white powder has been confiscated by the airport customs.  You need to find out what white powder it is?

Aim: To learn about the makeup of different white powders.

There are a number of different white powders in our everyday life. Some of these are harmful and others are not. Test the four white powders listed to see which one has been found at the airport.

Here are some examples of everyday kitchen white powders.

Flour, Cornflour, Sugar, Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Icing Sugar, Tartaric Acid

Citric Acid, Gluten Free Flour

You will be given a small amount of 4 white powders on your cardboard. On the black cardboard using a magnifying glass look at the powders.
Look at them under your magnifying glass and record what you see.

These are the four powders we will be using. Upload a photo of each powder.

1.  Cornflour
2.  Baking Soda
3.  Salt
4.  Sugar

Before you add the iodine, vinegar or water you will need to divide each powder into 3.

Materials

1.  Iodine
2.  Vinegar
3.  Water
4.  Baking Soda
5.  Sugar
6.  Salt
7. Cornflour
8. A black A4 paper
9. Pencil - To label stuff
10. Magnifying Glass - To look at it closely
11. A mat - Just in case the liquid go through the Black paper.
12. Tablespoon - For scooping the ingredients
13. Dropper

Steps

1.  Get your A4 Black paper and Your Pencil/Pen

2. Divide your A4 Black paper into 4 sections

3. In the top of each section write Baking Soda, Cornflour, Sugar, and Salt write at least one of them in 1 section.

4. Get your Tablespoon and scoop all your ingredients (Baking Soda, Sugar, Salt and Cornflour) and put them in one of the boxes. Make sure to put them in their names.

5. Now it should look like this: Don't forget to put your map underneath so no any Liquid stuff would go through the table.

6. Now split each ingredient into 3 groups.

7. Get your Dropper and get Water, Vinegar, and Iodine using your dropper.

8. Put each liquid ingredients to one of the split 4 White powders and split again into 3 tiny sections each.

9. See the reactions and record it.

Findings:

Sugar
Salt
Baking Soda
Cornflour
Appearance

The experiment kinda went well, but some Iodine and other stuff went to the table and It's hard to clean it. I guess in cornflour whatever you add to it but It has to be liquid and It'll turn into an Oobleck.

Art From Trash On Action!

Art From Trash On Action!

Bula! Today in C.I.P. (Community Impact Project), the whole Bh, Sh, Ds, and Tz class gathered again in J2 classroom to have a big discussion about our upcoming great art piece that we're going to make soon.

Related imageFirst off, everyone brainstorms some ideas of what type of Art that we're doing. Also, some of the students are not here with us, because they are helping Miss Hastie to do some cooking to help around the Hornby Community as well.

Back to the topic, Some students came up with a great Idea, where we're gonna build something made out of any type of trash (Plastic, Cans etc) that represents our community or Country.
For example, a HUGE "H", that represents Hornby etc.

Also, some of the students came up with an Idea, where we build like a kind message made out of any type of trash as well.
All of the ideas were awesome, so the teachers decided just to make us vote which one we want to make.

All the students voted for creating something that represents our community.

The teachers also ask, like what type of things that we should make to represents our community.
Someone says, "we should make a Kiwi Bird!", so I guess that's a great Idea.

If you don't know, Kiwi Bird is one of New Zealand's native bird, so that's why It's really important to our country.
But for now, we are looking for some inspiration to make it.

Based on my research here some photos that maybe will Inspire us:
