Knowing NZ Cities/town

Activity: Knowing NZ Cities/Town - Kete

Hey guys!, Today I'm going to share with you what I've learn from this week. In Kete we have a activity called "Knowing cities in NZ" we did it in a paper or in a chrome if you want to, mine I did it in Chromebook. So to do that activity, we have a map of NZ and we are going to find some cities or town in the NZ map to find it, we use google to help us, once we put the names of city of it we also need to put the name of that city in Maori. Like, Christchurch = Ōtautahi, So here's mine.

Reflection: I was very proud of myself because I did the best I can and I enjoyed the activity.

DLO fractions

We are learning to know about fractions

Hi people its me again! this week 3 Term 3 2017,  Me and my maths group learned how to add fractions and learned the three types of fractions, The three types of fraction are Proper fractions, Improper fractions and Mixed number.

Proper fractions - The numerator is less than the denominator

Improper fractions - The numerator is larger than or equal to denominator 

Mixed number -  A number written as a whole number with a proper fractions

1 - Numerator the top number, Numerator is the number of parts we have.

2 - Denominator, the bottom number Denominator is the total number of parts the whole divide into.

  I think my next step is to Improve my maths learning goals.

Hornby Primary School Extravaganza

Easter Island Wanted Poster

This term 2 week 2-3 Ako Ngatahi learn some different mysteries last week, but this week Ako Ngatahi learn about how to make a wanted poster using Google drawing. 

This mystery is about what mystery that we've choose or you are interesting in last week, So me I choose Easter Island Mystery because, that was mystery I've choose and I also Interesting on that mysteries.

I've been watch the video about a cloud and we starting writing about it and also I've learn some words that I didn't know before like "Brobdingnagian" that means giant or huge.

Anzac Day Poster

W.A.L.T.  put new Ideas from the text with my prior knowledge or other text to develop new ideas and understandings.

This week Ako Ngatahi  have done a Anzac Day activities on Reading. 

Anzac Day activities has five topics which is we will going to choose what topic we are going to work and also we thinking about how we going to show this to our blog, me I choose Anzac Day history topic and I create a poster about Anzac Day History Then, I do screen castify to show this poster.

I think my next step is to make my work better
